Persons under 18 years of age can buy the angling permit at half price.

Persons under 15 years of age may fish under the angling permit and within the fishing quota of an adult belonging to the same party, without needing to purchase an angling permit of their own.

Alle 15-vuotias voi kalastaa samaan seurueeseen kuuluvan aikuisen vapaluvalla samaan saaliskiintiöön, jolloin hän ei tarvitse omaa vapalupaa.

Personer under 18 år kan köpa spöfisketillstånd till halva priset.

Personer under 15 år kan fiska med ett tillstånd som tillhör till en vuxen i samma sällskap och med samma fångstkvot. Då behöver de inget eget spöfisketillstånd. 

Validity begins always at 12:00 PM (noon).

In August, between 1 and 31 August, fishing is only allowed from Thursday at noon (12 PM) until Sunday at noon (12 PM).

312 days of fishing are sold for the angling permit area. Maximum of four (4) people can purchase an angling permit for the same day in this permit area.

Before purchasing a permit, always read the content in the Area information tab and, in particular, find out in what cases you will need an angling permit and in what waters the permit entitles you to fish.

For other fish species, anglers must observe 

*During the protection period of trout and salmon, all fishing in the permit area is prohibited.

Water temperature has a significant impact on the survival of salmonids after they are released. When water temperatures approach +20 °C, you should use judgement before you decide to fish for salmonids. In waters warmer than this, fishing for salmonids should be avoided. In such situations, it is advisable to focus on species that are more resistant to heat, such as zander, pike and perch. 

There is no catch quota limit for other fish species.

The 24-hour catch quota cannot be increased by purchasing several permits for the same 24-hour period.

In the municipalities of Upper Lapland (incl. the Juutuanjoki, Alakoski angling permit area) it is prohibited to use bait fish when hook and line fishing, ice fishing or lure fishing. This is to prevent the spread of the Gyrodactylys salaris parasite. To prevent the spread of other parasites, it is recommended to bury the waste after gutting the fish you have caught.

In order to prevent the spread of the Gyrodactylus salaris parasite and Canadian waterweed (Elodea canadensis), fishing gear brought from outside to the Juutuanjoki, Alakoski angling permit area must be completely dry. It is also recommended to disinfect fishing gear at disinfection points before starting fishing. Fishing gear can be disinfected

These actions to stop the Gyrodactylys salaris parasite are based on the decree by the Finnish Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry. Lupa-alueelle Juutuanjoki, Alakoski myydään 312 kalastusvuorokautta. 

Samalle vuorokaudelle vapaluvan voi ostaa enintään neljä (4) henkilöä.

Vuonna 2024: Pääsääntöisesti 3.6.–31.8. Elokuussa (1.–31.8.) kalastaa saa vain torstaista kello 12.00 alkaen sunnuntaihin klo 12.00 asti. Tarkista myös kalalajien rauhoitusajat alta.

Vuoden 2025 osalta kalastusaika varmistuu myöhemmin.

Muiden kalalajien osalta kalastajan tulee noudattaa kalastusasetuksen mukaisia 

*Taimenen rauhoitusaikana kalastaminen lupa-alueella ei ole sallittua muutenkaan.

Veden lämpötila vaikuttaa merkittävästi lohikalojen selviytymiseen vapauttamisesta. Veden lämpötilan lähestyessä +20 astetta lohikaloja tuleekin kalastaa harkiten. Tätä lämpimämmissä vesissä lohikalojen kalastusta tulee välttää. Tällöin kannattaa suosia lämpöä paremmin kestäviä lajeja, kuten kuhaa, haukea ja ahventa. Lue lisää 

Enimmäissaalis 24 tunnin aikana: 1 taimen, 3 harjusta tai siikaa.

24 tunnin saaliskiintiötä ei voi kasvattaa hankkimalla useita lupia samalle 24 tunnin ajanjaksolle.

Muiden kalalajien saalismääriä ei ole rajoitettu tällä lupa-alueella.

Sallittuja vieheitä ovat uistin ja perho.

Ylä-Lapissa (eli myös Juutuanjoen, Alakosken vapalupa-alueella) on ehdottomasti kiellettyä käyttää syöttikalaa. Näin estetään Gyrodactylus salaris -loisen leviäminen. Saaliiksi saatujen kalojen perkausjätteiden hautaamista suositellaan muiden kalaloisten, kuten haukimadon ja lokkiloisen, leviämisen ehkäisemiseksi.

Gyrodactylus salaris -loisen leviämisen estämiseksi kalastusvälineiden, jotka tuodaan Juutuanjoen, Alakosken vapalupa-alueelle ulkopuolelta, täytyy olla täysin kuivia, tai ne on desinfioitava desinfiointipisteessä ennen kalastamisen aloittamista. Kalastusvälineet voi desinfioida
