Eräpassi – Learning material
Wilderness passport introduces you to a wilderness experience in Finnish nature. Wilderness passport covers four topics: outdoor recreation, the everyman’s right, wildlife management and fishing. The tasks take you on an adventure in nature, challenge your information retrieval and teamwork skills, and involve physical activities through games and play.
Angling Day
On Angling Day, under 18s get to go fishing for free at a number of Metsähallitus recreational fishing destinations. Angling Day is normally held on the first Saturday of the summer holidays, and every year sees the participation of around 1000 young anglers from all over Finland.
