Trap permit is specific to the fishing or boating party, and it is valid for a calendar year.

A trap permit entitles the holder to use one of the following traps: 

In other words, one trap permit entitles the holder to use only one type of trap at a time. Consequently, one trap permit does not allow, for example, the holding of a net and a trap at the same time – one requires two trap permits for this purpose. 

The latitude line of 67°00’N passes through the permit area, south of which fishers are allowed to use a maximum of 240 metres of nets per fishing or boating party in accordance with section 49 of the Fishing Act. This restriction does not apply to commercial fishing operators. All other waters of this permit area are located north of the above-mentioned latitude, except Lake Väärä Särkijärvi.

The trap permit contains the right to keep a boat on the multiple-use forest land of

. If there is a valid plan for the area guiding the storage of boats in a certain location, the boats must be stored in the designated locations. The boat must have its owner's name and contact information on it. The owner is responsible for keeping their boat site clean.

Tällä pyydyslupa-alueella saalismääriä ei ole rajoitettu.

Pyydyslupa oikeuttaa käyttämään vaihtoehtoisesti seuraavia pyydyksiä:

Yksi pyydyslupa oikeuttaa siis käyttämään kerrallaan vain yhdenlaista pyydystä. Yksi pyydyslupa ei siis salli esimerkiksi verkon ja katiskan pitämistä pyynnissä yhtaikaa, vaan sitä varten kalastaja tarvitsee kaksi pyydyslupaa.

Lupa-alueen läpi kulkee leveyspiiri 67°N, jonka eteläpuolella kalastajien on sallittua käyttää maksimissaan 240 metriä verkkoja pyynti- tai venekuntaa kohden kalastuslain 49 §:n mukaisesti. Tämä rajoitus ei koske kaupallisia kalastajia. Tämän pyydyslupa-alueen vesistä ko. leveyspiirin eteläpuolella sijaitsee 

Pyydyslupa oikeuttaa kalastajan pitämään venettä sellaisella lupa-alueeseen kuuluvan vesistön rannalla, joka on Metsähallituksen metsätalouden monikäyttömetsää. Tämän voi tarkistaa 

. Mikäli alueella on voimassa oleva kaava, joka ohjaa veneiden säilytystä tiettyyn paikkaan, tulee veneet säilyttää niille osoitetuissa paikoissa. Veneessä tulee olla omistajan nimi, ja omistaja on velvollinen huolehtimaan venepaikkansa siisteydestä.
