Day-use hut or campfire hut

Reservations

Šiššat / Sissanki rental campfire hut is available for daytime reservations between 06:00 and 00:00. It can be reserved for 1, 3, 6, or 12 hours. Please bring your reservation confirmation and proof of payment with you.

Keys

The key is in a key cabinet on the hut wall. The cabinet is protected with a code. Instructions and the code are sent to you by e-mail at the time of booking.

Other points

The rental campfire hut is located about a 7 km walk from the Fell Lapland Visitor Center in Hetta, Enontekiö. The trail can be accessed from the yard of the Visitor Center, as well as from the fitness trail starting behind the Enontekiö sports hall, where the Näkkälä trail branches off after about 1.3 km. Remember to bring a map. There is a dry toilet near the campfire hut.

There is no heat-storing heater in the hut. The campfire hut has an open fireplace. Please use firewood sparingly. There is no electricity at the hut.

There is a coffee pot is provided, but cups, other dishes, and utensils must be brought by the renter.

There is no running water in the campfire hut. There is a water source along the Pahtajärvi trail, about 100 meters from the hut. It is recommended to boil natural water before using it as drinking water. Using natural water as drinking water is at your own risk.

Please clean the hut before you leave. There is a recycling point at the Fell Lapland Visitor Center.
