Natural products permit
You can collect non-protected flowers, forest berries, mushrooms, and fallen branches, cones, and acorns from places where movement is allowed under everyone’s right. For the collection of materials not covered by everyone’s rights, you need the landowner’s permission, which you can obtain from Metsähallitus for state-owned areas.

Christmas tree permit
With a Christmas tree permit, you can get a tree from multiple-use forests located in Lapland, Northern Ostrobothnia, and Kainuu.
Subsistence area permit
Subsistence area permit allows, for example, the collection of firewood in Enontekiö, Inari, and Utsjoki. The permit is intended especially for locals and cottage owners.
