Subsistence area permit

In the natural economy areas managed by Metsähallitus in Enontekiö, Inari, and Utsjoki, you can purchase a natural resource permit for activities such as collecting firewood. This permit is specifically designed to meet the needs of local residents and holiday cottage owners. The subsistence area permit can be obtained by contacting the local contact person.

First, contact the local contact person for the permit and request instructions for obtaining the product. Pay for the permit you agreed upon with the contact person through the Eräluvat.fi service and collect the product from the agreed location only after that. The permit is valid for 3 months.
