Municipality: Eura, Eurajoki, Hämeenlinna, Ikaalinen, Juupajoki, Kankaanpää, Karvia, Kihniö, Kokemäki, Laitila, Lempäälä, Lohja, Loppi, Masku, Mänttä-Vilppula, Nokia, Nurmijärvi, Orivesi, Padasjoki, Parkano, Pirkkala, Pomarkku, Ruovesi, Sastamala, Siikainen, Somero, Säkylä, Tammela, Tampere, Ulvila, Virrat, Ylöjärvi
Region: Kanta-Häme, Pirkanmaa, Päijät-Häme, Satakunta, Uusimaa, Varsinais-Suomi
Fishing period: 1 January – 31 December
Permitted traps: Bait hook (10 pcs), bow, fyke net or fish trap (height up to 1.5 m), gig, harpoon, long line (up to 100 hooks), net (length up to 31 m), trap (3 pcs)
Required permits and fees: Fisheries management fee, trap permit
Trap permits for the area: Permit for the whole calendar year
Targeted catch: Burbot, cyprinids, perch, pike, pike-perch, vendace, whitefish
Restrictions: In the Evo Hiking Area in Hämeenlinna, the use of stationary traps is prohibited in many lakes. Check the restrictions carefully in the permit terms and water area directory.

Permits needed for fishing

Trap fishing in this permit area always requires a trap permit. You will also be required to pay the fisheries management fee, unless you are under 18 years of age, over 70 years of age, or are 65 years of age or older as of 31 December 2023.
