Special features of the area: According to a decision issued by The Centre for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment (ELY) for Lapland, fishers in the Kokkonen trap permit area are allowed to fish with a net from 15 August to 30 November, even though the area contains a river that is part of a migratory fish watercourse.
