The development of Lake Kylmäluomanjärvi as a recreational fishing destination will continue since the results have been promising. due to the positive feedback from anglers, trout stocking will continue. Fishing arrangements will also remain the same: Fishing with nets, bait hooks and longlines is prohibited from Rouvastinsalmi to the western end of Lake Kylmäluomanjärvi, i.e. Isoselkä and Pääselkä.

Permits needed for fishing
Trap fishing in this permit area always requires a trap permit. You will also be required to pay the fisheries management fee, unless you are under 18 years of age, over 70 years of age, or are 65 years of age or older as of 31 December 2023.
