The permit covers state-owned water areas in the municipalities of Parainen and Keimiönsaari. The permit does not cover the restricted areas in the National Park.

Permitted traps: Bait hook (10 pcs), bow, fyke net or fish trap (height up to 1.5 m), gig, harpoon, long line (up to 100 hooks), net (length up to 31 m), trap (3 pcs)

Trap permits for the area: Permit for the whole calendar year
Targeted catch: Burbot, grayling, herring, ide, perch, pike, trout, whitefish
Special features of the area: Trap fishing in this permit area is only allowed for local residents of Parainen and Keimiönsaari.
Restrictions: One boating party may purchase a maximum of 4 trap tags (nets). Check the restrictions carefully in the permit terms, water area directory and Luontoon.fi service.

Keep in mind in this area

The fisher must check the protected areas, restricted areas, landing restrictions and other restrictions in the Archipelago National Park Instructions and Rules, which can be found at Luontoon.fi service. For example, campfires and camping are only permitted at the sites specifically designated for these activities.

Permits needed for fishing

Trap fishing in this permit area always requires a trap permit. You will also be required to pay the fisheries management fee, unless you are under 18 years of age, over 70 years of age, or are 65 years of age or older as of 31 December 2023.
