The permit area is located in Evo Hiking Area within a short distance from the biggest cities of Southern Finland. Total surface area of Niemisjärvi Lakes is approximately 30 hectares. The lakes are regularly stocked with rainbow trout.
This fishing and hiking destination is especially suitable for the whole family. Niemisjärvi Lakes offer something for both experienced fishers and beginners. You can catch fish from both the shore or from a boat. There is also an accessible fishing dock for disabled fishers.
Lake Vähä-Koukkujärvi is reserved for fishers aged under 15. Here you can learn how to fish with the assistance of your parents or other people with fishing experience. If an adult belonging to the same group has purchased an angling permit for the Niemisjärvi permit area, a person aged under 15 can share the catch quota of the adult in question and does not need a separate angling permit. Young persons fishing alone can purchase an angling permit at half price.
